Institutional Compliance

UT Dallas’ Institutional Compliance Program is intended to demonstrate in the clearest possible terms the commitment of UT Dallas to the highest standards of ethics and compliance with all applicable laws, policies and regulations. Annual and new-hire compliance education is a critical component of the program and provides basic information about laws, regulations, policies and procedures with which all employees must comply. In addition, the education modules provide references regarding who employees should contact and websites they should visit for more information on each subject presented. All employees must complete compliance education. This includes full-time and part-time employees, student workers and research/teaching assistants.

Employees must complete compliance education:

  • when first hired (new hire compliance education must be completed within 30 days of hire).
  • once a year (refresher/annual compliance education).
  • with a change in job duties (only if new job duties/department warrants additional education).
  • when a change in the regulations has occurred.
